Arizona Music Academy currently provides private lessons for the following instruments:
Piano, Vocals, Band Instruments, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Mandolin and Ukulele.
Arizona Music Academy Class Schedules are designed for weekly music lessons of a one-half hour, 45 minute, or a one-hour class per week on a month-to-month basis. This applies to all Arizona Music Academy music classes, private or group classes, all teachers, and all class levels (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
Whether a student comes to Arizona Music Academy for an extended amount of time to learn a musical instrument from beginner on to advanced lessons, or study short-term to prepare for a special event, all Class Schedules are established and paid for on a monthly basis. A non-refundable annual registration fee is collected to guarantee a spot on a teachers schedule. (See Studio Policy for detailed information)
30 Minutes- $36 ($144 for a 4 week month, $180 for a 5 week month)
45 Minutes- $50 ($200 for a 4 week month, $250 for a 5 week month)
60 Minutes- $63 ($252 for a 4 week month, $315 for a 5 week month)
To guarantee a spot in the studio at Arizona Music Academy, there is a nonrefundable $25.00 annual registration fee paid every July 31st. New student registration fees will be collected before the first scheduled lesson.
Tuition is based on the lesson and the number of lesson hours scheduled. Tuition is collected through an auto-pay system. All families can set up their auto-payment using VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX or an ACH payment. Payments will be charged on the first day of each month. A $25 late fee will be added after the 7th of the month if the balance owed is still outstanding. There is special pricing available for two or more students/lessons per family. The office/desk must be notified of all changes and cancellations. A 30-day written notice must be given if a student plans to discontinue lessons. No refunds will be given after the first lesson. If a student no shows for 2 consecutive weeks and has not paid for the month, lessons are considered forfeited and the student will be removed from the schedule.
Code of Conduct:
Students are expected to show respect to their teacher and classmates at all times while they are in our studio. Any students showing actions which may cause harm or injury to others will be asked to sit out their scheduled class time. A parent/teacher meeting will then take place and a decision will be made as to the action the company must take, up to and including dismissal from our studio.
Each student must practice a minimum of 10–15 minutes every day in order for the lessons to be effective. Individual teachers may add or adjust a student’s practice time to increase a student’s progress. You are making a weekly commitment to Arizona Music Academy and a daily commitment to practice at home as well.
First Lesson Needs:
Students are required to purchase books at their first lesson. Please note that in order to succeed each student must have a keyboard, piano, guitar or pertaining instrument at home on which to practice. Most books are available at the AMA studio.
Make up Lessons:
Make up lessons are NOT available. Due to limited studio and instructor availability, no make up lessons are given. Instructors are in no way obligated to give a make up lesson for times missed by the student. Any lesson cancelled by a student will be charged, credits are not given due to illness, school breaks or vacations. If a lesson is cancelled by Arizona Music Academy or the instructor, a make up lesson or credit will be given on the following month’s bill.
In the event that an AMA instructor is not available to teach their normal schedule, AMA will provide a qualified substitute teacher. Lessons will proceed as normal and any student refusing lessons is still responsible for payment of that lesson. If a substitute teacher is not available, AMA will issue a credit for that lesson on the following month’s bill.
Recital performances are held once a year per studio. A participation fee of $30 per student or $45 per family is charged. Students are encouraged to participate.
Arizona Music Academy has permission to take photographs/video of student(s) to be used in advertising, the company website, company social networking site (ex. Website/Facebook), and any other promotional materials created by Arizona Music Academy.
We are working on dates of commitment to be able to host performance this year.
