Programs
Weekly Music Lessons: Arizona Music Academy Class Schedules are designed for weekly music lessons of a one-half hour, 45 minute, or a one-hour class per week on a month-to-month basis. This applies to all Arizona Music Academy music classes, private or group classes, all teachers, and all class levels (beginner, intermediate or advanced), and all Arizona Music Academy class locations.
Whether a student comes to Arizona Music Academy for an extended amount of time to learn a musical instrument from beginner on to an advanced class, or study short-term to prepare for a special event, all Class Schedules are established and paid for on a monthly basis. (see Class Schedules)
Music for Little Mozarts: Music for Little Mozarts is an acclaimed program for instilling an appreciation for music in young children ages 3-5 years old as well as introducing them to the piano keyboard, rhythm, harmony, and becoming familiar with many important aspects of music. It also prepares the young student for advancing to study or playing a musical instrument. All Music for Little Mozart classes are group classes taught by a teacher trained in the Music for Little Mozart program for early childhood development and education.
Music Summer Camps: Arizona Music Academy Summer Camps are exciting adventures to beat the heat and have musical fun staying cool. Kids join in on group classes to study music together and learn group performance. Our summer camps are also the perfect way for the aspiring music student to become familiar with our studio and teachers and to discover what music lessons are all about.
Summer camps are 4 day sessions, Monday through Thursday, for approximately two hours each day, depending on the camp.
Stereo Sound Recording Club: Stereo Sound Recording Club is an outstanding and unique program that gives students a hands-on collaborative experience with writing and recording original songs that will be produced onto a CD. Students work on developing their talents, while at the same time learn about songwriting and the recording process.
Clinics and Workshops: Arizona Music Academy music clinics and workshops are hands-on classes or series of classes focused on a topic and held by musicians with areas of expertise, where demonstration and instruction are given with interaction between the instructor, students, and audience.
Music clinics and workshops are sometimes a special meeting or class with a performing musician who is in the area on tour or a local or visiting professional musician with a specialty, such as a jazz, ragtime, a classical pianist or violinist who demonstrates a style or technique and interacts with a group of students and audience who attends to meet this music specialist and/or performer, ask questions or have the guest musician critique their own performance of a musical piece.
Studio Recording: For the more advanced students, private studio recording time is now available at the Tempe location. Contact the office to set up a consultation time.
